Bovada customer service?

Went to make a withdrawal today and for the first time was asked for a verification code via text. That’s when I realized the number on my account was not my current number. Absolutely no way for me to change it on the site without them wanting a confirmation code sent to said number.
Anybody know the best way to contact them? Sent an email but that could take up to 48 hours. Also cannot find the CS number anywhere. Anyone have it? Or have an idea of a quicker way to get in touch with them? TIA

Bovada's customer service and "sports team" literally don't know how betting works

Going to try and keep this condensed.
I placed a tennis wager on Auger-Aliassime v. Raonic 3 days ago for the Rogers Cup. The bet was for Auger-Aliassime +1.5 sets. In a best of 3 sets match, which this was, the bet can be boiled down to: FA2 wins a set, I win the bet. Once he wins a set, there is no possible outcome where +1.5 sets is not true. Bovada does not agree.
Raonic retired after the second set. Bovada graded my bet no-action. I've reached out to Bovada four times (it's a small amount of money, but I have a system I'm running, and BY PRINCIPLE that money should be mine), and after consulting with their "sports team" (which I'm not allowed to speak to), they had three lines of reasoning that they flipped between at random. None of them make any sense.
The first one is: Since three sets were not played, the outcome is unknowable. They could not explain to me how, even though FA2 had won the first set, there was a mystery outcome where he could have lost by more than 1 set, had the match been finished.
The second one is (it's a doozie, get ready): Since the bet says PLUS 1.5, FA2 has to win 2 sets. Two of the people I spoke to told me this. They think the plus sign means you have to win more than 1.5 sets, not lose by less than 1.5 sets. Big dummy mode.
The third, and maybe most unacceptable one is: Since the match is 5 sets, winning one set is not enough to know whether he would have stayed within a set. This tournament, the Rogers Cup, consists only of 3 set matches. Yikes.
After wasting several hours (I'm an idiot) on this, I still never got the payout, and the people I spoke to are convinced that the bet was settled correctly. Fuck me I guess.
For reference, their own rules state: In the event of a match starting but not being completed, all bets will be void unless the result of the wager has already been determined.
Thanks for letting me vent.

Shout out to Bovada Customer Service

Ive used them for a while. Last night i had my third issue come up. This time i was sent a email two weeks ago for a 100% deposit match up to $250. I added $250 but they didn't match. I clicked from the link in email, and triple checked for expiration date, which the wasnt. I was busy and planned on dealing with it today.
I called today, they apologized, added the money, and that was that. The other two times had similar results.

What is Bovadas customer service number?

I tried to make a withdrawal, then got an e-mail that my address was different than the original one. She said she unlocked my account, and then put the withdraw through. The email says it will take up to 15 business days to reach my blockchain account? The number I called was 1-888-263-0000. For some reason i'm extremely sketched out by this?

Bovada customer service not what it used to be

Anyone playing on Bovada should be checking their poker bowl promotions and any extras they were expecting.
I posted a few weeks back how I had to spend a couple hours researching and compiling a list of tourneys I played in because they screwed me out of a tourney ticket I earned. After a bunch of emails and phone calls over 2 days they finally figured it out, put the ticket in my account without so much as a sorry for all your wasted time much less compensation for it.
Then today on the client it says deposit today all day long for a 20% bonus. So I try to get some free $ and they say oh that was only black Friday. They fuckin trick you by flashing deposit all day for 20% bonus then after a second it flashes black Friday. The black Friday shot doesn't even mention the deposit bonus it just is up there so they've done just enough to not be straight scamming.
This site used to be bar none best customer service. I don't know if they've made changes with personnel or what but its not at all what it used to be and is bordering on false advertising.

Bovada-Lost check by courier

I requested a withdrawal from Bovada on 12/13/2020. It was shipped on 12/24/2020 according to FedEx. I did not receive an update from Fed Ex for 2 weeks. I called Fed Ex on 1/6 and was told that the item was still in customs and due to COVID, it would take time to get here....Still no update from Fed Ex so I called again, and was told the package was officially "lost" and that there was nothing they could do about it, and to contact Bovada. I tried calling Bovada's customer service, but due to COVID their call center was not operating and to try the email or chat options. I have sent two emails to Bovada, and still have not gotten a response. I've also tried the chat option, but was told that the date of birth and pin number (I had written down!) were not correct, therefore, they cannot assist me. Does anyone have any idea how I should proceed?

Bovada Account Set Up in My Name? Or Phishing Attempt?

Bovada Account Set Up in My Name? Or Phishing Attempt?
I received an email from Bovada, thanking me for signing up for an account. But I never signed up for a Bovada account. The email is addressed to someone named Kzyqaa, who is not me.
I received this email at an old email address that, as far as I know, I do not use for internet accounts anymore. I am certain I do not use it for any of my accounts having to do with money (bank account, investments, bills or subscriptions, etc.).
Is this a phishing attempt, or does it look like someone has successfully set up a Bovada account using my email address? I appreciate any and all advice. Let me know if more info would be helpful or if this post would be more appropriate in a different subreddit.
EDIT: Some additional info: I saved the email as a PDF, which stripped much of the formatting, but in my email client it looks like it could be a legit email. Also, the reply-to email address is in fact the company's customer service email address (verified by looking at the company's website).
UPDATE: I navigated to the website through Google. Then I clicked "Login," then "Forgot Password." The prompt asks you for a date of birth, though. I didn't feel comfortable giving that, but luckily, immediately underneath the prompt was a "Contact Us" link. I clicked on that, and then filled out the form to customer service explaining my situation.
Later in the evening I received the following email from Bovada Customer Service:
Hi SiMadam, Thanks for contacting Bovada Customer Service. We do apologized for the issues you would have experience , the account was disable and not to be enable , no further action at this time. We're available to help 24/7 if you need anything else. Thanks, Bovada Customer Service
Sounds like the issue is resolved (at least for now)? Not really sure what to do now anyway, except keep an eye out for any other suspicious activity.

Has this happened to anyone else on bovada? Everyone won besides WV. I had them at -1 and they won by 1 so it would be a push. But they graded it at -2.5. The customer service agent was no help so I’ve sent an email.

Account Disabled

On Tuesday I had made numerous wagers on bovada.lv live betting after depositing around 150 dollars. Have been a member of bovada for around 6+ years. Never had any problems with bovada in making deposits or withdrawals. I have received checks, Bank transfers and btc withdrawals without a problem. I have also deposited via BTC, credit and debit without a problem. Late Tuesday night my account was disabled for unkonown reasons. I don't have multiple accounts, have sent in all ID verification years prior before my first withdrawal. I can't use bovadas live chat due to my account being disabled and currently can't call bovada customer service due to it being down. I sent off a couple emails with no help at this current time. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do, or how to speed up this process or even get into contact with someone directly? Email wise.

This is how bovada cheats at live dealer blackjack

Bovada dealers arbitrarily enforce and break the rules of their Live Dealer Early Payout Blackjack game to manipulate hand outcomes in their favor. Here are the rules, copy and pasted with the important bits in bold.
How to Play Live Blackjack Early Payout Overview
^ Live Blackjack Early Payout is Bovada's live casino games version of Blackjack Early Payout, the highest paying blackjack game on the Internet. BJEP has an expected return of 99.50% and automatic Basic Strategy software, so players receive highlighted prompts on the best strategy for each hand. **Each step of the way, you can choose to play optimal strategy or use your gut instinct.**
Blackjack Early Payout presents a player with a challenge: Should I take a payout right now or play for the big win? After you receive a new card, you're offered an instant payout. The payout offered is based on the strength of the dealer's up-card and can be either higher or lower than the original bet. Players have the ability to play up to three hands at a time for a fast, challenging game of blackjack.
Live Blackjack Early Payout is a part of Bovada’s live dealer casino games, the latest way to play live dealer blackjack online. Bovada's dealers are streamed live in real time from a studio. The live blackjack dealers are friendly, fluent, and knowledgeable about the game. Live Dealer Blackjack Early Payout presents a game with a low house edge and two exciting side bets. ^ Blackjack Early Payout Features
The game has several distinct features which make BJEP one of the most talked-about games around. These features help keep the game moving, while avoiding several pitfalls longtime blackjack gamblers dislike. Blackjack Early Payout offers veteran blackjack players a new challenge to win real money while keeping the essential features of a high return-to-player and optimal strategy.
Fast Play: Because other hands play according to basic strategy, Blackjack Early Payout plays fast and you never have to worry about another player messing up the deal.
Basic Strategy: When a new card is dealt to you, the best play according to basic strategy is highlighted in bright blue. You can choose your own strategy, highlighted in silver.
Early Payout: The key rule is early payout. Whenever a new card is dealt, the Early Payout offer is highlighted in green. Take the deal or play for more money.
Multi-Hand Blackjack You can bet on one, two, or three hands at a time. By playing three-hand blackjack, you never have to wait on a deal and achieve the fastest version of the game. ^ How to Play Live Blackjack Early Payout
Now that you understand the basics, let's discuss how a hand of BJEP transpires and how to win at Blackjack Early Payout. The game plays much like classic blackjack does, though you'll be at a three-seat blackjack table. Bovada suggests you take the Basic Strategy advice until you get comfortable with the game interface and BJEP rules. Read through the guide below to see how a typical hand of Blackjack Early Payout plays out.
Place Main Bets: Start the hand by selecting a chip value. Choose a seat by choosing the center bet box on any one, any two, or all three of the seats at the table.
Place Side Bets: You can make side bets by placing chips to the right or the left of the main bet box. The Pairs side bet is located to the left of the main bet, while the Rummy side bet is located to the right of the main bet.
The Deal: Once bets are set, you enter the "No More Bets" phase of the hand. The dealer deals two cards to each of the players seats, while dealing two cards to the dealer hand.
Dealer's Hand: The dealer will have one up-card. If this card is an Ace, you can choose to buy insurance. The dealer's hand and all non-player hands are dealt according to basic strategy.
Player's Hand: Options like HIT, STAND, DOUBLE, or SPLIT are provided. Bovada's software provides basic strategy tips, so you can play like a pro.
Early Payout: Each time you receive a card, you'll also be offered an early payout, so decide to take the payout or play the hand. For example, if you hold a 20 and the dealer is showing a 10, you'll be offered a 50%+ payout, which is smart to take.
**You can always take fewer cards than basic strategy suggests. You cannot HIT when blackjack basic strategy calls for you to STAND, because the dealer always follows basic strategy** Ultimately, Bovada makes certain you play the fairest game of Blackjack Early Payout possible. Side Bets
Two side bets are available in Live Blackjack Early Payout. One is the Pairs side bet, which is similar to the Perfect Pairs Blackjack game found on Bovada. With the Pairs Bet, you'll receive an 11-to-1 payout anytime your hole cards are a pair. Whether you receive 4-4, Q-Q, or A-A, you receive the 11:1 payout.
The other side bet is the Rummy Bet. In this case, you receive a 9:1 payout if your first three cards come in sets. This might be a Three-of-a-Kind, a three-card straight, or a three-card flush. If any of these three combinations appear, you'll receive a 9-to-1 payout. The Rummy Bet provides many new options for a winning hand that you don't see in blackjack every day. Live Blackjack Early Payout Odds
Live Blackjack Early Payout’s return-to-player is comparable to classic blackjack and better than many other online blackjack variants. What separates BJEP and makes it uncommon in online blackjack is the Basic Strategy prompts used in the game. Previously, a player had to study basic strategy and memorize charts which told how to play each hand. With Blackjack Early Payout, you can achieve optimal play simply by doing what the Bovada software tells you to do. The real challenge is deciding when to take the early payout or not.
BJEP's side bets have a higher house edge. Most bets in a casino with a higher payout have a lower expected return and Blackjack Early Payout's side bets are no different. The odds of winning are less than on the Blackjack Early Payout main bet, but the Pairs Bet has an 11:1 payout and the Rummy Bet has a 9:1 payout. Like so many other cases in this version of blackjack, players are given the option to deviate from optimal strategy to seek higher payouts. ^ Technical Interruptions
In the event technical interruptions happen to a game of blackjack, Bovada follows the accepted policies in the casino industry. In live dealer blackjack, if a misdeal or other technical issues besides connectivity happens, then all hands are voided and all bets are returned to players.
If a player's Internet connection is interrupted during a hand, any bets you have made will remain in play. The bets are played until the bet wins, loses, or pushes. If you fail to respond in the allotted time, the hand continues. The Bovada software will play your hand according to basic strategy. You still have an optimal chance to win, but the hand could lose or push. Once the hand you bet on is over, you'll be logged out of the game until you place a new bet.
Welcome to Blackjack Early Payout V 2.0!
Both new and professional blackjack players will love this feature rich game designed specifically to deliver an outstanding Live Dealer Blackjack experience.
Main features of the game You can bet on one, two or all 3 hands every time. No waiting for a seat! Lots of action! ^ Very fast play dealers will always deal the cards according to the optimal player strategy known to professional players as Basic Strategy. The benefits of this are both fast and consistent play. Your result will never be affected by another player's poor decision nor will you have to wait. ^ While Basic Strategy will offer an exceptional game payout of 99.5%, blackjack players want choices. For each hand where you have placed a wager, you can either follow the Basic Strategy decision to HIT/STAND/DOUBLE or SPLIT or choose a different option. ^ The default action will be highlighted Bright Blue OR you can select your own option highlighted in Silver. Options will change depending on the hand. ^ **For example, if the player has a 15 and the dealer has a 10, Basic Strategy will HIT. However, one player can choose to STAND if he wants to, while other players accept the HIT. If you choose STAND, the next card that comes out will not affect you and will appear as a Ghost Card on the user interface. ^ In all cases, you can elect to take fewer cards than Basic Strategy recommends ^(ie STAND or DOUBLE when Basic Strategy says to HIT). However, you will never be allowed to HIT when the Basic Strategy says STAND because the dealer will always follow Basic Strategy no matter what the players choose** ^ Another amazing feature of this game is Early Payout. Each time your hand changes, you will be offered an Early Payout amount highlighted in Green. This is the amount of money you can take immediately to end the hand before any more cards are dealt. ^ For example, if you have a 20 and the dealer has a 10, you can take a substantial profit immediately a very wise decision if the dealer ends up with 20!
Side Bets: There are two side bets available on each of the three boxes: PAIRS and RUMMY. PAIRS bets pay 11:1 and win on any pair ^(e.g. 4,4, Q,Q, A, A). If the Player's first two cards are a pair, you win! ^ RUMMY bets pay 9:1. This bet is also known as 2 plus 1 in some parts of the world. This bet uses a combination of 3 cards: the Player's first two cards PLUS the Dealer's UP card. There are 3 ways to win a RUMMY bet: ^ 1. A 3 card straight ^(e.g. 4H, 5D, 6S). ^ 2. 3 of the same card value ^(e.g. 10H, 10D, 10S) ^ 3. 3 of the same suit / flush ^(e.g. 2D, 9D, KD)
Try Blackjack Early Payout V. 2.0 for yourself and play the most exciting Blackjack game on the internet! If you have any questions, you can always ask the Live Dealer, the Pitboss or our customer service department.
GOOD LUCK!
Exceptions: In the event of human misdeals or a technical problem of any kind, all hands will be void and the original bets will be returned to players.
In the event that you lose connectivity or time out during the live game, any bets you have made will remain in play as they would in a land based casino resulting in a win, loss, or push. Failure to respond within the allotted time for any reason will result in your hand being completed according to Basic Strategy.
Professional card counters are prohibited. If you are found to be a professional card counter, any winnings will be forfeit and your account will be subject to immediate closure.** ^

Their dealers will break the "you can always elect to take fewer cards" rule when it benefits them to do so. I played winning rounds until the video became laggy and the dealer would continuously say "hit" and ignore my call to stand. Upon speaking up she told me it's the rules, "you should read and learn the rules if you want to play this game." Another dealer came over to confirm the rule that you must always follow "basic strategy". After leaving and reading the rules again, I came back and tried chatting with the pit boss which is basically like speaking to a bot. While in lobby, I watched the dealer allow stands on hands "basic strategy" would suggest hit on and he won those hands. One of the rounds afterwards, he forced a draw which resulted in a bust, and the player wrote in chat that he click stand.
I have chatted with several reps, the bitboss and customer support about the issue and they ignore everything I say. The live chat reps have repeatedly quoted this line in the rules, "you cannot HIT when blackjack basic strategy calls for you to STAND" even though it obviously does not apply. Only one time did they even acknowledge when I told the the rules say, "You can always take fewer cards than basic strategy suggests." and that was to ask me where it came from.
I explained all of this via email, even the bits about my points being ignored and here's the response.
*Thanks for contacting Bovada Customer Service.
As per the pitboss, the Basic Strategy rule applies in this instance.

I don't know what I should do at this point. Their rules contradict everything they're telling me.

Incorrect Password/email error with correct password

Over the last few days, I keep receiving an error when I try to log in to my bovada account. I type in my email and password like normal and I get an error saying incorrect password/email, and to make sure my Caps lock is off. I am 100% certain that both the email and password are correct when I log in. So each time this happens I’ve had to reset my password. Then I’m able to log in. But bovada signs me out after idk how long. So I basically have to reset my password for each login. Is anyone else having these issues or know how to fix?
For reference I use safari on my iPhone X. These problems really only started after the most recent update to iOS. I’ve also tried to use google chrome and I receive the same error. And bovada customer service has basically been no help whatsoever.

Account Frozen

Around 2 weeks ago I won about $150 on Bovada and decided to withdraw it. After making my withdrawal I got an email from Bovada saying my account has been locked because my bank cancelled/took back a deposit of a little more than $500 that I made back in February. I did not claim the charge and called my bank (Chase) who also said that they did not charge this sum back. Bovada customer service is giving me a bullshit story about how my bank did it and won't tell me. What should I do.

(Venting) Bovada Cancelling Portland NBA Bets

As the news about Blake being hurt broke, a buddy and I hammered Portland to win the series at -105 on Bovada. I woke up this morning to see Bovada cancelled the bet.
Now, I'm not that mad because I was arguably betting in bad faith trying to use info that they obviously didn't have yet. But I wonder if I'd placed a bet on the Clippers at that time if they'd have cancelled it too. Just seems like BS to me to cancel a bet they allowed fans to make.
Edit: Bovada's reply
Hello,
Thanks for contacting Bovada Customer Service.
Your wager has been graded as 'Void' due to an obvious line error. We've canceled all wagers placed on these lines, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Your wager was placed at Portland Trail Blazers -125 and the correct line should have been Portland Trail Blazers -225 at that time. Should you have any questions, or require any further assistance, please let us know.
Regards,

Just an FYI that I got this message from Bovada just in case you all didn't get it:

Bovada Withdrawal Check Unaccepted

I cashed out of Bovada and they sent me a check from Vietnam. I took it to my bank and they won't accept it as they believe there are errors on the check. I called Bovada customer service (who was very helpful) and they told me that it's most likely the teller not being familiar with how to process the check and that my best course of action is to put the check inside and envelope and deposit it into an ATM. My fear is that it will get lost at this point.
Has anyone else had any issues with accepting your winnings, or any thoughts on what I could do to just get my money?
Thanks
Thanks for all the responses everyone. I think I'm going to try and use the mobile deposit and if that doesn't work try another branch and see if they take it. If worst comes to worst I've already talked to Bovada customer service online and they said scan the check and they will work it out with the bank who issued the check. I might ask them if we can cancel it entirely and just do direct deposit.

Bovada in New York

I play MTTs/SNGs on Bovada from PA and have recently got a job in NYC and will be staying there during the week. I called Bovada customer service and the woman who I spoke too wasn't sure if they would freeze my account if I played from my place in NY.
It is my understanding they don't allow new players from NY but do they allow people to play from NY with an out of state address? Looking to see if anyone has experience with this.

Is it possible to play poker on Bovada without giving out your SSN or government id?

When I go to make a deposit on Bovada, it asks me for the last four digits of my SSN. I don't really feel comfortable giving this info out online, since the full SSN can easily be determined given a little bit more information about the individual, if it falls into the wrong hands. When I emailed Bovada customer service, they said I could instead send them an image of my photo ID, but, again, I would prefer not to do so as I have concerns about identity theft.
Is there any way to play on Bovada without having to give out private information such as SSN or ID info? If not, are there other online poker sites that allow you to play without giving out such info?
Thanks

Please tell Bovada to fix their buggy Zoom

I love Bovada's highly addictive Zoom; I just get really, really tired of my client crashing and burning every I sit out, which will happen involuntarily if one goes bust. I have tried complaining about the situation to Bovada, but they displace the blame onto me.
If Zoom is buggy for you, please complain to Bovada customer service so, hopefully, they can fix the problem and make a more enjoyable and crash-less Zoom poker experience for everyone.
Thanks.

Bovada lag issues on Mac OSX

I've recently downloaded the Bovada software for mac and have had major lag issues to the point where I can't play. Most hands lag and I get the spinning wheel and I end up "sitting out" because I can't take my turn in time.
Does anybody have any suggestions about what to do? I'm pretty sure the lag isn't on my side because I'm running it on a brand new computer. I've called Bovada customer service and they have been no help. They told me to restart my computer and reset my router among other things, and none of it helped.
